Ailish Dunne lost her sight to vasculitis in 2003 and took up athletics in 2009.
Ailish competes in both the discus and shot put and enjoyed an impressive season in 2011. This included four personal best performances and a sixth-place finish at January’s IPC World Championships in New Zealand.
