Darragh began swimming competitvely at his local Asgard swimming club in 2006. He made rapid progress, winning silver in 400m freestyle at Beijing 2008.
Darragh is one of three swimmers on the panel that has competed at a Paralympic Games. Following his 400m freestyle bronze at 2011’s IPC European Championships, Darragh will have high hopes of climbing the podium again at London 2012.
