Garrett is one of the most experienced members of the Irish Paralympic panel, having competed in four previous Paralympic Games in five different events.
Garrett became involved in Paralympic sport in 1992 after he broke his neck in a rugby match a year earlier. He has since won five World Championship medals in pentathlon and discus. London 2012 promises to deliver yet another career highlight.
