John has enjoyed a distinguished Paralympic career and will make a phenomenal tenth Games appearance at London 2012.
Prior to his sailing career, he previously won medals in Athletics’ discus event (bronze in 1984 and gold at Seoul 1988). At the Games, he’ll be at the helm with team mates Ant Hegarty and Ian Costelloe when they compete at Weymouth.
